What can I expect at Trans Academy?

At Trans Makeover, you’ll find an inviting and accepting environment where you can freely express and explore your identity.

What services are included in a Trans Academy?

We are here to guide you to embrace your femininity and elevate it to new heights. Whether you’re seeking guidance with your beauty routine or refining your feminine behaviors, our personal coaching session will focus on what empowers you the most.

What hygiene practices are in place at Trans Academy?

We uphold stringent hygiene practices at Trans Academy. Our standard procedures include using UV-C disinfection devices and UV-C HEPA-13 air purifiers. All used items and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Single-use items such as makeup sponges and lashes are yours to keep after the session. Clothing, wigs, shoes, and jewelry are cleaned after each session, as are our makeup tools. Our workspace is kept immaculate, with furniture regularly steam cleaned.

Am I allowed to bring my own items?

Absolutely! You are welcome to bring along any clothing, wigs and accessories you would like to wear and use for styling. You own makeup can also be usefull to see if these are the right fit with your style and skintype.

How much time does a Trans Academy session take?

A Trans Academy coaching day takes 5 hours.

Who owns the photos and videos from the session?

If you choose to include photograpy and video. All retouched photos and videos from the session are yours to keep and use as you please. We ask that you retain our watermark and tag us when possible. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us, so we will never distribute your photos/videos without your explicit consent.

Where is the coaching session conducted?

The coaching will be held indoors at our location, offering complete privacy. Alternatively, if you’re comfortable, we can go outdoors.

Where is Trans Makeover located?

Trans Academy is located in Capelle aan den IJssel, the Netherlands.

What languages do you speak?

We are bilingual, fluent in both Dutch and English.

How many photos and videos will I receive if I choose to include it?

You will receive 12-20 photos and 3 videos.

How long will it take before I receive them?

After approximately two weeks, you will receive the photos and videos.

Is it recommended to shave my facial hair?

For a smooth makeup application, it’s recommended to shave facial hair before your makeover. Our blog post titled “Shaving Guide for Your TransMakeover: Achieving a Smooth, Well-Shaven Face’’ provides detailed steps for manual shaving and pre-shave skincare. 

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

At Trans Makeover, we strive to provide a seamless and efficient experience for our clients. This includes providing a variety of payment options for our services. Here is a list of payment methods we currently accept via Mollie:

  2. Apple Pay: For those who prefer a digital wallet and contactless payment option, we accept Apple Pay. This method is convenient for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users.
  3. iDEAL: A preferred online payment method in the Netherlands, allowing direct online transfers from your bank account.
  4. Bancontact: The market leader in electronic payment systems in Belgium.
  5. KBC/CBC Payment Button: A popular payment method for KBC and CBC Bank customers in Belgium.
  6. Belfius Direct Net: A direct payment solution for customers of Belfius Bank in Belgium.
  7. Giropay: An Internet payment system widely used in Germany, based on online banking.
  8. EPS: An Austrian online transfer system, making it one of the most popular payment methods in Austria.
  9. SEPA Transfer: This is an option for clients in the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), facilitating euro bank transfers between 36 participating European countries.
  10. Paypal (Upon Request): We accept PayPal payments upon request. Do note there may be additional fees associated with this method.

Is the Trans Academy experience suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! Whether it’s your first time exploring your gender expression or you’re experienced or a trans woman, we customize the coaching to suit your level of comfort and knowledge.

Is the coaching session private and confidential?
Yes, we prioritize your privacy and ensure a safe, supportive environment. All sessions are conducted in a private studio, and your personal information is kept strictly confidential.

What if I am not sure about my gender expression or style?
That’s perfectly okay! Our team is here to guide and support you through your exploration of gender expression. We can help you experiment with different looks to find what feels right for you.

 Are there any age restrictions for a Trans Academy?
We offer coaching to adults of all ages. For clients under 18, parental or guardian consent is required to book a session.

How do I book a Trans Academy session?
You can book a session through our website, www.transacademy.net, or contact us directly via email. We’ll be happy to discuss your needs and schedule an appointment.

Can I bring a friend or family member for support?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring a trusted friend or family member to your session. We understand how important support can be, and we encourage you to feel comfortable during the process.

Do you offer services for genderfluid or crossdressing individuals aswell or only transgender individuals?
Absolutely! Our Trans Makeover services are inclusive of all gender identities. We’ll work with you to express your identity in a way that feels authentic and affirming.

Can I get assistance with wigs and hair styling during the session?
Yes, we provide wig styling as part of the coaching. If you have a wig or hairpiece you’d like to use, feel free to bring it along. We also have selection of over fifthy wigs available, and we can assist with your own hairstyling aswell.

What happens if I need to reschedule my appointment?
If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. We understand that things come up, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. Depending on our policy, there may be a small rescheduling fee.

What is the cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy requires notice within a specified time frame to receive a full or partial refund of your deposit. Please refer to the terms on our website for detailed information.

Are drinks and snacks included?

Yes, after the first look and photoshoot, we take a break and offer a selection of snacks and drinks. If you have any dietary preferences or allergies, please let us know in advance.”
